Considered the Institute’s premier event, these awards are held annually to acknowledge the achievements of our Excellence Award winners and TAFE NSW State Medal winners.

TAFE NSW – Northern Sydney Institute Excellence Awards are presented to students who have been nominated and selected based on their:

academic achievement at TAFE NSW

demonstrated leadership qualities e.g. group learning skills, community involvement, industry service

overall attitude to learning

Based on 2007 results, the 2008 TAFE NSW State Medal recipients are the highest academic achievers (statewide) in their nominated course.

This year’s presentation took place on 13 May 2008 at ANZ Stadium, Olympic Park.
