Aged Care and Disability Forum - 23 October 2008
Meadowbank College is hosting a free workshop on locating and customising technology-based training resources for the NSI Aged Care and Disability Industry Training Network on Thursday, 23 October.
Guest Speaker Anthony Rogers will deliver ‘Learning Resource Development - How not to reinvent the wheel’. Anthony is the Teacher in Charge for Community Services and Health at TAFE NSW – North Coast Institute’s Kingscliff College.
Anthony has been working in the Community Services and Health industries for 20 years and most recently focused his career in vocational training and staff development. Anthony has been extensively involved in the design and development of innovative learning materials consisting of text books, online learning courseware, audio and video productions, distance learning programs, and computer assisted learning tools.
Following Anthony’s address, participants and guests will be able to meet with exhibitors including NSI’s Community Services & Health section, OTEN, Skills Online, and Wesley Vocational Institute among others.
Light refreshments will be provided.
