Do I have to submit an application before enrolling in a course?

Some high demand courses require application before enrolment otherwise enrol directly at the college offering the course.

I was enrolled last year, do I need to re-enrol?

Continuing students may need to re-enrol. Contact your college teaching section for details.

What should I do before submitting my application?

Many courses require you to attend an information session prior to enrolment or require special application forms or selection procedures. Always check with the college before applying.

Does my application guarantee a place in the course?

Submitting an application does not guarantee you a place in a course. The application process is used to select students for high demand courses.

How many applications can I submit?

You may only complete one form, and you can include up to four preferences for courses, colleges and attendance modes (each of your preferences will have its own code)

Do I need to submit documents with my application?

You must submit copies of result notices, reports, testamurs and/or certificates as proof of any completed study and in some cases you may need to submit a portfolio of work.

How do I find out about recognition for my previous studies?

Contact your college customer service centre or ask your course co-ordinator how you may apply.

Late Applications

Students who wish to lodge a late application may do so using the TAFE NSW Application Form. Late Applications will only be considered if places are still available after all applications received by the closing date have been assessed.
