Application Courses

High demand courses require a TAFE NSW Application Form to be lodged at the college of your first preference by the closing date and are identified as 'Application Courses'.

TAFE NSW Application Form

You may only complete one form, and you can include up to four preferences for courses, colleges and attendance. For some application courses you may also need to attend a test, interview or audition or present a portfolio for selection purposes. Check the course entry requirements to see if this applies to your course and contact your college as soon as possible regarding scheduled dates and times.

Application Codes

Each combination of course, location and attendance mode has a unique 'application code'. You will need to list these codes on the TAFE NSW Course Application Form in order of your preference, using TAFE NSW Application Codes.

Application Amendments

If you change your mind about your preferences after you have sent in your application form, you can submit an Application Amendment Form. This must be received by the relevant closing date by the college where you lodged your original application.

Notification of the Result of Your Application

You will be notified, in writing, of the result of your application.

Late Applications

Late applications are accepted. Please use the TAFE NSW Application Form to lodge a late application. Late applications will only be considered if places are still available after all applications received by the closing date have been assessed and places have been offered.
