Welcome to Northern Sydney Institute. Over the past twelve months the Institute has undertaken a major shift in its strategic direction, resulting in a new enhanced market focus and commitment to performance. Our new sharpened approach to business is embodied in the Northern Sydney Institute Strategic Directions 2007-2010.
What does the Strategic Directions document mean for our customers? The Strategic Directions puts our customers at the forefront of our business and recognises the diversity of our customer base. It acknowledges that our business is driven by the goals, needs and expectations of our customers.
Our mission is to meet the vocational aspirations of individuals, workforce development needs of enterprises, and capacity development of communities. We also recognise that collaboration and partnerships with business, industry and the community are vital to the growth and development of our business.
The Institute Strategic Directions identify five key customer groups and areas of focus that will inform our service delivery into the future:
- Individuals (seeking or in employment), enabling individuals to gain employment, pathways to further study or meet their career aspirations.
- Enterprises, enhancing their competitive advantage and business performance
- Communities, enabling communities to grow social, environmental and economic capacity.
- Government priorities, meeting assigned state and commonwealth priorities
- Educational Partners, achieving mutually beneficial partnerships and relations with schools, other RTOs and universities.
Our enhanced commitment to our customers will continue to see the institute at the forefront of excellence and innovation in delivery and service and ensure we are recognised as the leading provider of vocational learning and workplace development services locally and globally.
I recommend you see what Northern Sydney Institute has to offer you. |
